How to use the
stand-alone plug-in included on our interactive CD-ROMs
Here are some hints on how to use the
QuickTime plug-in included on our interactive CD-ROMs so you can
view the movies using your Netscape or Internet Explorer browser.
In some cases, you may have to right-click
on the Windows version in order to Save (Target) to Disk before
you can continue to run the QuickTime installation program.
Make a note of where the file is saved (e.g.
the folder called My Download Files or the Desktop), as next
you will have to Run the saved file.
On the Start menu, click on Run and then
browse for the file saved to your hard drive.
Alternatively, if you have an Internet connection,
you can download the QuickTime plug-in for your browser for free
from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/.
Make a note of where the file is saved (e.g.
the Desktop), as next you will have to run the saved file.
Hide your Internet browser (ie Netscape or
Internet Explorer) then find the file saved to your hard drive
and double-click on it.

from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/.
